WHERE DO YOU LIVE? 

I am based in New York City, which is my home and where I primarily operate my photography business. However, I am also very passionate about traveling for photography assignments. I love exploring new locations and capturing the essence of different environments. So while New York is my home base, I am more than willing to travel wherever my clients or projects take me. If you have a specific location or project in mind, I am more than happy to discuss how I can bring my skills and expertise to that particular place to capture your vision.

 

DO YOU TRAVEL TO FOR SHOOTS?

Yes, I absolutely love traveling. I have been to New Jersey, the D.M.V  and even Atlanta to name a few. Absolutely! If you or your project is located outside of New York, please complete my contact form for a custom quote., as a travel fee may be required.

 

WHAT TYPES OF PHOTOGRAPHY DO YOU DO?

As a photographer, I specialize in portrait, event, and fashion photography. I thoroughly enjoy capturing the unique personalities and emotions of individuals through compelling portraits while highlighting clothing, accessories, and overall style. Additionally, I enjoy covering events, capturing the candid moments and creating a visual narrative that reflects the atmosphere and essence of each occasion. 

 

HOW DO YOU BOOK A SESSION?

You can send me an email or complete the contact form on my website to set up a consultation. During the consultation we can discuss details of the session or event, such as available dates, type of photography, pricing, location, duration, and any specific requests or themes. Once we agree on all the details of the session or event, I will send over an agreement that will need to be signed by both parties.

 

WHAT IS NEEDED TO HOLD A DATE?

In order to hold the date and time, you will need to make a deposit. And this is where you keep reading to the next question. LOL

 

IS THERE A DEPOSIT?

Yes, I do require a deposit. To secure your booking, I ask for a 50% deposit upfront. The remaining balance can be settled the day before the session or event. This deposit ensures that your date is reserved exclusively for you, and it helps me allocate the necessary resources and prepare for your photography session. It also serves as a commitment from both parties, demonstrating that we are dedicated to making your event or session a success.

 

PAYMENT SCHEDULE

Depending on the overall price and how far out (date-wise) your booking is for, we can absolutely discuss a payment plan. But the full payment still must be settled a day prior to the session. 

 

CAN I PAY PART AFTER THE EVENT / SHOOT?

Depending on the circumstances, I might allow the balance to be paid after the event or the shoot. The request would need to be made during booking and I would have to agree in writing. However, the images will not be delivered until the balance is paid. 

  

DO YOU ONLY DO PHOTOGRAPHY FOR QUEEN SIZE MAGAZINE?

While I am a hired photographer for Queen Size Magazine and thoroughly enjoy working with them, I also operate my own independent photography company called Photos By PDrew. This allows me to pursue my passion for photography on a broader scale and work with a diverse range of clients. While Queen Size Magazine provides me with valuable opportunities in the fashion and body positivity industry, I equally value the creative freedom and flexibility that comes with running my own photography business.

 So, to answer your question, I shoot for Queen Size Magazine, and I also work independently through Photos By PDrew. Whether it's for a magazine assignment or an independent project, I'm dedicated to delivering high-quality photography and capturing moments that resonate with my clients. DO YOU DELIVER EVERY IMAGE YOU SHOOT?

Going through hundreds of images is a daunting task. I would never do photo dumps. No, not every image taken during a photography session is delivered. I carefully curate and select the best images that meet high-quality standards and reflect the session's essence. The selected images are then professionally edited and delivered to you as the final product. The exact number of delivered images will be outlined in our agreement or contract.

 

WHAT IS YOUR RESCHEDULING POLICY?

If you need to reschedule once you have booked your session, you have one reschedule allowed (meaning you cannot reschedule a session more than once). You must contact me by phone at least 72 hours (three days) in advance of your rescheduled session. Any rescheduling requests made within 72 hours before your session, you will forfeit your deposit and have to pay a new booking deposit.  

 

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Any booking that is canceled 72 hours of the agreed upon date and time is eligible for a full refund. minus any studio booking fee. For cancelations that take place within the 72-hour window, you will lose your deposit fee. 

 

NO SHOWS?

If you no call no show, you are forfeiting your booking fee and I will not schedule with you again unless your next session is paid in full when booking. Please be mindful that when I block off a time spot for you, I am holding that spot for only you. Therefore, I am not able to schedule someone else.

 

DO YOU PROVIDE THE ORIGINAL UNEDITED RAW IMAGE FILES?

I take pride in presenting a finished product that reflects my style, expertise, and artistic vision. Therefore, I would never provide raw files because to me, doing so displays incomplete work and does not align with my professional standards. In addition to that, there is also the aspect of legal and copyright concerns. Giving out raw files could potentially lead to unauthorized use, alterations, or misrepresentation of my work as a photographer. By retaining control over the editing of my own work, I can ensure that my work is used properly and for its intended purpose.
